The brewers behind the development of Guinness Nitro IPA talk us through their process.

After Guinness pioneered nitrogenation in the 1950s, they developed the unique widget: a device that enabled the creation of the same surge and settle effect of draught beer, but instead, in a can.

This has allowed the creation of an Indian Pale Ale with the classic quality of a Guinness pint. The results are a balanced, creamy, and smooth IPA.

The five hop variety in Nitro IPA are Admiral, Challenger, Cascade, Topaz, and Celeia which produces a strong body with citrus flavours.
